University study system
The university applies the full academic day system that depends on the annual study system, where each academic year consists of two semesters with the possibility of offering a summer semester when necessary, and the study plan for each program is distributed over eight or more levels according to the duration of study in each college.
Attending school:
Regular students are required to attend lectures and practical lessons and are prohibited from continuing their studies and entering the final exams for any course if their attendance rate is less than %) of 75% of the specified lectures and practical lessons during the semester, and this is done by a decision of the dean of the college.Apologize for studying:

First: Minimum and maximum limits for a bachelor’s degree at the university:
- The minimum length of time a student spends studying for a bachelor’s degree at the university is eight regular semesters.
- The minimum period of study for a student transferring from another institution to obtain a bachelor’s degree is four regular semesters.
- The period a student spends studying for a bachelor’s degree at the college may not exceed twelve semesters, and the University Council may extend it for special circumstances.
- Suspension of enrollment and withdrawal without failure do not count towards this period.
Mandatory and elective requirements for the program
The scientific departments determine the compulsory and optional requirements of the program, according to the requirements of the academic accreditation standards. In general, the focus should be on the Arabic and English languages in writing and reading, conversation, mathematics, arts and the skill of using modern technologies, and social courses, in addition to the description and objectives of each course separately, the number of credit hours, and the location of its teaching in the student’s study plan.

Student Rights and Responsibilities
First: The student’s rights towards the university:
- Obtaining his rights within the university or college from the administrative and academic authorities as stipulated by the rules and regulations in force within the university.
- He has the freedom to express his opinion and scientific discussions regarding educational and educational aspects in accordance with the rules and regulations set by the ethics and behavior in dialogue literature.
- His right to enroll in the specialization according to his desire and according to the rules and conditions of registration and admission Obtaining a university card that proves his identity, whether inside the classrooms, college or campus facilities.
- Receive the course syllabus at the start of the academic year, which includes information about the subject teacher, course objectives, course outcomes, and methods and methods of student evaluation during the semester.
- The right to review his grades in the course and the results of the periodic and semester exams he has taken and to review his answers in the final exam as stipulated in the regulations and rules adopted at the university.
Second: The student’s duties towards the university:
- The student must adhere to the standards of academic behavior while remaining in the stages of study within the university.
- Commitment to regularity in the study and permanent attendance of all scheduled lectures, and the student is not allowed to be absent more than 25% of the quota of 25 percent of attendance except with an acceptable excuse as specified in the regulations governing this.
- Treat faculty members, administrators, and fellow students with respect.
- Adhere to the university’s rules and regulations governing all procedures, including exam procedures.
- Not to engage in any behavior that contradicts religion and morals so as not to offend or affect the academic or professional status or social responsibility of the student.

- Adhere to all guidelines and instructions issued by the university or college, whether with regard to exam matters or maintaining the university facilities and property, laboratories, halls, offices, or others that are available within the university.
Student obligations
Obligations that the student follows when taking exams:
- Completing the attendance percentage in each subject according to the university regulations.
- No one is allowed to enter the examination hall except under the university card for the same year and after paying the financial obligations according to the system followed for that year.
- Attend the test well in advance and bring everything required for the test, such as pens, calculators, etc.
- The student is not allowed to leave the test hall until half of the scheduled time for the course test has elapsed, and it is not allowed to return to the test hall after the student has left it for any reason whatsoever, except for compelling circumstances and accompanied by one of the exam supervisors.
- No one is allowed to enter the exam after half an hour after the start of the exam, provided that no student has left the exam hall.
- The student has the right to appeal the result of the college’s academic exams within two weeks from the date of the announcement of the result, after which his right to the system will be forfeited.
Students may not engage in any of the following behaviors:
- Disrupting the study, instigating it, or deliberately refraining from attending lectures and other university work required by university regulations. Disrupting the order and discipline required by the lectures and other university works.
- Using bulletin boards without prior authorization from the competent authority in the college.
- Distributing flyers, pasting them on the walls of the college, issuing wall magazines or collecting signatures without obtaining prior authorization from the competent authority in the University.
- Chewing khat or using intoxicating substances or drugs inside the University campus, as well as smoking inside the classrooms.
- Removing, tearing or destroying university announcements from their designated places.
- Carrying a firearm or white weapon inside the university campus.
- Publish and distribute the leaked questions among students or send them to certain parties.
- Impersonating others during the exam.
- Intentionally or negligently damaging, squandering, or stealing any of the university’s property.
- Forgery or fraud in the submission of documents necessary to enter the university or college or in the procedures for granting a university degree or transcript.
- Establishing or participating in any organization within the university without prior authorization from the competent authority in the university or participating in any activity that violates university rules and regulations.
- Using university buildings for other than the purposes for which they were intended without prior authorization from the competent authority in the university.
- Picketing or demonstrating inside the university campus in contradiction to the university’s rules and regulations.
- Refrain from abusing, insulting, or threatening by word, deed, or in any form whatsoever on a faculty member, teaching assistant, university employee, or student.
- Cheating during the exam, attempting to do so, or helping others to do so.
- Forging university documents or using forged papers, including medical papers, for any university purposes.
- Possessing documents or seals belonging to the college or university in violation of the established regulations in order to use them to obtain a benefit.
- Committing any act contrary to honor, morals, and Islamic teachings inside or outside the university.
General provisions
If the possibility of a student’s graduation depends on a compulsory course that is not offered in the semester in which he will graduate, or if it is offered and conflicts with another compulsory course, the student may be allowed, upon the approval of the dean and the recommendation of the department and in coordination with the Admission and Registration Department, to study another alternative course that is similar to the replaced course or higher in terms of its level or number of credit hours from among the courses offered by its scientific department.
If a student’s graduation prospects depend on passing only one course that he has previously studied and failed three times, then with the approval of the dean and the recommendation of the department and in coordination with the Department of Admission and Registration, the student may be allowed in the graduation semester to study an alternative course similar to the replaced course or higher in terms of its level and number of credit hours from among the courses offered by its scientific department.
- The student cannot be excused for not being aware of these regulations, or for not reading the bulletins issued by the college or what is published on the bulletin boards in its various buildings with regard to these regulations.
- Students are responsible for organizing their schedule and studying the prerequisites.
- The student must obtain a clearance from the university to complete the graduation or withdrawal procedures.
- A course that the new student previously studied at another university or higher institute and obtained a scientific qualification may not be counted.
